My Favorite Lunch
My current favorite lunch is pan fried or baked salmon, seasoned with either Mrs. Dash or Grill Mates, and Green Giant frozen Zoodles.

Success!
I fell off the healthy band wagon since I last posted. Thankfully, I got back on last month. I've lost 2 pounds. It's not much but it's a lot to me. I got an elliptical. I only use it if I go over my calorie allotment. But I've gained endurance. It sounds pathetic, but when I first started I was winded after 30 seconds! Then I slowly pushed myself and now I am at 5 minutes without stopping. My goal is to be able to do 30-45 minutes without stopping. I like the elliptical because it's less impact than running and I don't have to go out in public.
Today was a great day and I'm really proud of myself. By the way, those green teas from Wendy's is delish! And if you take a pic with the hashtag #share4adoption, they'll donate 5 dollars to the Wendy's adoption foundation.

Healthy Living (TAKE 2)
Today is my second attempt at losing weight. It's been a looooong time. But I'm starting to feel my back rolls rub together and it makes me feel uneasy.

Pizza Roll Ups
Dr. Hooper here! It's the middle of the July and when it's one of those nights where you don't feel like standing over a hot stove for 2 hours, here's a quick and yummy dinner the family will love. Take two cans of busted crescent roll biscuits, unroll, and add 1/3 of a stick of string cheese. Or a small rectangle of mozzarella cheese. Then add a few slices of pepperoni. The Kroger turkey pepperoni is my favorite because it doesn't yield a lot of fat. You know, that orange grease that makes a comeback in your throat around 12am. Anyway, grease the baking sheet with oil spray and bake at 425 until the tops are golden brown and the cheese starts melting. Let them cool off, and dip them in marinara or ranch. YuM!!!
